G01 : Lila & Manny (No Fraternizing)

It seemed only right to start this thing off with the very first characters from the very first story I self-published, No Fraternizing, Pt. 1. Providing an update on Lila and Manny in Loveless (the 4th book in The Forbidden series), was honestly one catalyst behind me creating a home for character glimpses here today. What is BK Book Lounge?

In short…

BK Book Lounge is the official home, my prime real estate on the web, specifically created for readers of my books.

With the evolving climate of social media and the internet it has always been a priority to carve out my space on the web. The end goal is to be truly independent, self-reliant, and creative right down to the foundation and bones of the Brookelyn Mosley brand.

I’ve used several online spaces from the start of my self-publishing journey, and I am thankful I’ve been able to access those spaces offered. Through those online spaces, I’ve been able to connect with readers who would’ve never known I existed. When I first started as a new author, I didn’t know what I was doing. Like, I literally did not!

I knew I needed to build a platform but didn’t really know what building a platform really entailed, even after reading SEVERAL books on the topic. After 6-years in self-publishing, I can confidently say I get it now lol and with that, I’ve learned my focus must shift to staying long in spaces where I belong.

And what better space to be long in than a space created by me?
