We could compare Glimpses to story vignettes. If you are unfamiliar with story vignettes, they are short, short stories that have no start or ending. They bring you in, then fade you out of scenes already in progress… if that makes sense. Meaning in the story world, we are just getting a sneak peek back into characters’ lives, so the Glimpses technically have no beginning or end. They are just a glimpse back at our favorite characters.
If you read my Drinks on Me series, then you are familiar with what vignettes are and what they entail.
The Glimpses here will follow a similar pattern.
Glimpses will feature characters from my previously published books. All the Glimpses will be told from a third person perspective and will fade the reader in, in the middle of an ongoing scene and will fade the reader out of that scene once all has been told. Glimpses don’t carry on for scenes at a time. It is only one scene with two or more characters in one setting. The heat level of the stories will vary from 1-4; 1 being mild to no intimacy and 4 being a heavily intimate scene. I will not say at the start of every story what heat level you’ll get. That’ll take the fun out of it! One thing is for certain though, all Glimpses will be anchored in intimacy because love and intimacy is always the motivation 🥰.
